"AN EXAMPLE
OF WHAT'S
RIGHT"
Billings Gazette,
October 12, 1999
Corbin has been representing family law litigants in private practice for 29
years. He's been an attorney for 34 years. His practice is
now limited to
family law cases
involving the following issues:

    Dissolution of Marriage
    Paternity
    Adoption
    Parenting Plans
    Child Support
    Medical Support of Children
    Division of Assets and Debts
    Division of Retirement Plans (QDRO's, FLO'S, COAP's)
    Maintenance/Alimony

Not all of these issues arise in every case. But family law differs from other
areas of practice in that when the original legal proceedings are completed,
there may be changes later. Corbin may also assist you in subsequent
modification proceedings:

    Modification of Child Support
    Modification of Medical Support
    Reallocation of Child Dependency Exemptions
    Modification of Parenting Plans
    Modification of Maintenance/Alimony

Corbin works with clients to understand
how (and in some cases, if) the
law may help them.

Corbin works hard to settle cases sometimes through direct negotiations
with opposing counsel and sometimes through mediation with a mediator
separately hired by both parties.
When matters cannot be settled, he
represents clients before the District Court, and if necessary, the Montana
Supreme Court.

Corbin is a trained mediator and can assist individuals and their attorneys
to resolve family law matters out of court. Mediated settlement
conferences can be remarkably effective in resolving even difficult disputes.
When Corbin is hired as a mediator, however, he does not provide legal
advice to either party nor does he draft legal documents.
